Lights in the Water - Game Development Page

Development work done on "Lights in the Water" a dark horror and exploration game.

Lights in the Water centers on a diver that wakes in a secluded light house tower, seemingly alone. All that they know is: There was a storm last night, The lighthouse has gone out, There are lights in the water" They must explore a dark and mysterious coastline which holds many secrets. Will the keep their tower lit, should they? The game has two endings depending on the player's choices.

The goal of the game is to engage the player as they explore the environment and present them with a mystery. No direct answers are given so it is up to the player to piece together what the strange occurrences in the game mean.

The game is built off of base code created by Michael Baker, with additional scripting by Arthur Dale.
All art assets and level design are created by Arthur Dale.
Sound assets are provided by Freesound.org or created by Arthur Dale.
